About Aura Horse Heart Connections

Meet Corinna

A horsewoman, space holder, and founder of Aura – Horse Heart Connections.

Originally from Germany, Corinna moved to Australia in 2018 seeking freedom, nature and a slower way of living after years in the corporate and pharmaceutical world. She holds a Bachelor in Business Management and for many years followed a conventional career path until burnout and emotional exhaustion called her to pause and rediscover what truly mattered.

When Corinna’s mum passed away after a long and courageous journey with cancer, the world felt like it stopped. Grief changed everything the way she saw life, love and what it means to be present. During that time, the only place that felt grounded was in the paddock. Corinna’s horses didn’t need words. They met each other with presence, honesty and quiet understanding. Through them, she began to find peace in the simplest moments and slowly, herself again.

That experience reshaped Corinna’s life’s direction and was the inspiration to create Aura - a place where others can also slow down, reflect, and reconnect in the company of horses.

Corinna is a member of the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT), a certified Equine Interaction Experience Practitioner (EIEP), an Australian Counselling Association (ACA) student member and currently completing a Diploma of Counselling to further support clients with compassion and integrity.

About Aura and The Land

Perched high on a ridge in the Tweed Caldera, Aura – Horse Heart Connections is part of a small working cattle farm overlooking Wollumbin, The Pinnacle, Mount Burrell and the ranges of Nightcap National Park. From the horse stables, the views open wide across the valley and surrounding hills, with sunsets that fill the landscape in soft, golden light. A clear creek winds through the property, bringing life, movement and a quiet sense of peace.

This place has a special atmosphere. It is open, calm and deeply connected to nature. It’s where most of the days are spent with the herd and where guests are invited to slow down, breathe and reconnect in the company of horses.

Corinna named this place Aura for three reasons:

  • The breathtaking glow of our sunsets over the Tweed Caldera

  • The quiet, grounding energy that horses naturally carry

  • And the belief that each of us has our own radiant light. A light that can shine again when we feel seen, supported and at ease

At Aura, the land, the horses and the natural beauty that surrounds us come together to create a peaceful space for reflection, awareness and authentic connection.
